Japan has entered the hybrid car market with a vengeance and is doing very well with its new models. However, Honda has been somewhat of a disappointment with its S2000 successor.The car will come in a high class low emission package, which should appeal to green consumers.
Apparently the new S2000 will share its 2nd-generation hybrid driveline with that of the new Honda Accord and will only have a front wheel drive. Thus the S2000 will be a step above the new hybrid CR-Z as far as outright performance goes – after all hybrids do lose out on performance and speed. It will also have a retractable hard top.
